Todd and the thieving little rats at the border.

TLR doing his thing.

Passing all the traffic that was stacked up after the mudslides. A whole lot of folks got tired of waiting and just headed down the road on foot. The black thing in the lower left of the picture is the mount for my GPS unit which I had locked away for the border crossing.

Reaching the end of the traffic jam I got a close up view of the slide being cleared.

I also got to hang out with all the cops. It took a long time for Todd to show up and I was beginning to worry. But, as it turns out he stopped to fix a policeman's motorcycle.

Once past the mudslide we made our way past the other side of the traffic jam.

Since we where the first ones across the mudslide all the cars in front of us where people who had given up and turned around. People kept calling out to me "Que Paso, que paso" to which I responded "yes we paso no problemo". Mmm maybe I should learn some Spanish.
